Product Description
Acrylic plastics are polymers based on acrylic resins, synthesized through the polymerization of acrylic acid and its esters. A typical example is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). Commonly known as acrylic or plexiglass, PMMA boasts a light transmittance exceeding 92% and a relative density of 1.19. It exhibits excellent weather resistance and is easy to color and mold; however, it is relatively brittle and readily soluble in organic solvents.
