Product Description

Styrene–acrylonitrile copolymer, also known as AS resin, is a colorless, transparent thermoplastic that exhibits excellent heat resistance, outstanding gloss, and superior chemical resistance. It also boasts high hardness, rigidity, dimensional stability, and a relatively high load‑bearing capacity. This material is produced via suspension polymerization using acrylonitrile and styrene as raw materials; thermal initiators may be employed, or it can alternatively be synthesized by emulsion polymerization. Owing to its inherent transparency, it is widely used in the manufacture of clear plastic products.
