Product Description

PA66 plastic resin is a semi‑transparent, white or black crystalline polyamide resin, chemically known as polyamide 66 (abbreviated PA in English), commonly referred to as nylon 66. It is the highest‑volume, most diverse, and most widely used of the five major engineering plastics. With a density of 1.15 g/cm³, a melting point of 252°C, and a thermal decomposition temperature exceeding 350°C, it exhibits an equilibrium water absorption of 2.5% and boasts high strength, wear resistance, self‑lubricating properties, and excellent acid–alkali resistance. Reinforcement with glass fibers can raise its heat deflection temperature to above 250°C, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including mechanical gears, automotive bearings, and electrical components.
